Low Chesters House is equipped with everything you need and more, with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. From the chocolates and card on arrival to the dog treats, bowls, and leads, the owners have truly thought of everything. Our dog enjoyed the huge garden and cozying up in front of the fire. The cottage is also conveniently located near pubs and offers plenty of picturesque walks. Cons: Not one thing 😊.

We had an amazing value for our money at Low Chesters House. The room was cozy and clean, with a charming wood burner that kept us warm. The location was perfect, close to shops and cafes, yet peaceful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The menu for breakfast could have had more variety.

Awesome location for hiking, skiing and cycling. The free WiFi saved me from total boredom. Towels were kindly provided, so I didn't have to bring my own.

The washing machine was missing, so I had to refrain from doing laundry while on vacation. How unfortunate.

We recently stayed at Low Chesters House in the charming village of St John's Chapel. The location was perfect, with easy access to shops, cafes, and bars, yet still peaceful. The cottage was spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully furnished. Having private parking in the rear of the property was convenient for our motorbike. The stove was lit upon our arrival, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. We also enjoyed the large, well-maintained garden, perfect for our dog. a great stay and we would definitely return in the future.

    Strongly recommend this hotel.

Great location in the village, close to shops and bars. Locals were friendly and helpful. the property had a large and well-maintained garden.

Had a bit of a struggle getting into the parking area, as the track was narrow. the wooden gate had large gaps, so small dogs could escape.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage in St John's Chapel. The value for money was great, and the spacious and beautifully furnished accommodation exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, with a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay.

The breakfast could have been improved with a better selection of condiments.

We had a fantastic stay at Low Chesters House! The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the extra touches like chocolates and a card on arrival made us feel really special. Our dog loved the huge garden and snuggling up in front of the coal fire. The location was great, close to shops and cafes but still quiet. The locals were friendly and helpful, despite the disappointing weather. We can't wait to come back!

The hotel breakfast menu could be improved with more variety.

My recent stay at Low Chesters House was fantastic. The property is perfectly situated close to shops, cafes, and bars, yet it remains peaceful and quiet. The large, well-maintained garden was ideal for my dog to play in, although the wooden gate had some large gaps that small dogs could squeeze through. Inside, the multi stove fire made the cottage warm and cozy. I also appreciated the easy access to surrounding villages and towns from the beautiful village location. The locals were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall charm of the place. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as struggling to park my car in the narrow track at the back of the property, the wonderful people of St. John's Chapel came to the rescue. The double bed was also a bit too soft for my liking, but it was still quite comfortable. While the Golden Lion pub didn't impress me with their food, the Bluebell Inn, just a short walk away, had friendly staff, good beer, and excellent homemade food. I had a great experience at Low Chesters House and would certainly recommend it.

Great location in a quiet village, with easy access to shops, cafes, and bars nearby. The locals were really friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, and there were many extra touches that made it feel special. From chocolates and a card on arrival to dog treats and bowls, the owner really thought of everything. We especially loved the large and well-maintained garden, perfect for our dog to run around in.

We had a bit of trouble getting into the parking area at the back of the property, as the track was quite narrow. It would be helpful if this could be improved for larger vehicles.
